The 3 main points of Cedric Price fun palace is to bring the community together to celebrate arts, science, and culture. Which means the community could watch a performance, learn a skill from workshops, have childcare watch their children, and have a meal all in the same building.
As a designer, design like The Fun Palace could bring neighbours closer by having events and gathering for neighbours to get to know one another. It can also help bring awareness and teach people on different art styles and cultures by having workshops and performances in the area. It can also be an area for friends gathering and the old can hang around to do activities with their friends.
I personally agree with the notion of Cybernetics that all being that can control or be controlled are living. Due to the fact that there are currently AI technology which are self-learning from humans and the internet. Who knows one day the AI might learn how to feel and be self-aware? It may seem impossible now, like how technology and the internet seem impossible 100 years ago.
If we were to travel back in time and tell people we could talk to, interact, and connect with people all over the world with just a small box, they would think we are using witchcraft and call us crazy.
